Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous bartending experience in a fine dining environment
  • ability to communicate in English, including speaking, reading, and writing
  • experience using a point of sale system
  • must meet the local legal minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages
  • strong coordination skills for proper pouring and carrying multiple drinks and plates simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards
  • deliver genuine hospitality and establish emotional connections with guests
  • contribute to overall teamwork and success of the restaurant
  • communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • determine guests needs and make appropriate recommendations to enhance the dining experience
  • prepare drink orders for guests and servers according to recipes in a timely manner
  • execute beverage tray service and answer guest questions regarding food and beverage offerings
  • adhere to all alcohol awareness procedures
  • handle guest complaints professionally and alert management immediately
  • process payments and handle cash accurately
  • communicate with managers and hosts regarding table availability and important updates
  • follow up with guests about their meal and dining experience to ensure satisfaction
  • maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation
  • demonstrate professional and gracious demeanor at all times
  • perform all opening, running, and closing duties accurately
  • perform any job function requested by management
