We are currently seeking professionally minded, service-oriented bartenders to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our restaurant’s success, requiring a passion for mixology and a commitment to excellent customer service. Bartenders at Tomatillos not only prepare a wide variety of alcohol and non-alcohol beverages but also play a key role in enhancing the guests' experience by engaging patrons in lively conversation and upselling premium products, especially our renowned margaritas. Compliance with all Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) regulations is mandatory, ensuring a safe and responsible environment for our customers. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced bar atmosphere, demonstrating efficiency and professionalism during extended shifts aligned with sales volume. This position demands at least two years of bartending experience, excellent knowledge of mixology, particularly in crafting margaritas, and the ability to foster a positive team environment by working closely with restaurant management and other staff members. Job Duties
- Taking care of and taking a vested interest in our guests dining experience
- Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for the bar and restaurant patrons
- Comply with all TABC regulations
- Able to engage bar patrons in lively conversation creating a memorable experience
- Excellent knowledge in mixology primarily in margaritas
- Ensuring that orders are accurate, complete, and brought to each guest in a timely manner
- Suggesting many items and upselling to give our guests the ultimate dining experience
- Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and issues
- Assist in taking initiative to help fellow staff members and lead by example by promoting teamwork
- Able to work in a highly fast paced bar atmosphere and extended shifted hours dictated by sales volume
