Job Description

Our establishment is a well-regarded hotel renowned for its exceptional food and beverage services, creating memorable experiences for guests through its hospitality and attention to detail. As an integral part of the hospitality industry, the hotel prides itself on offering a warm and inviting atmosphere enhanced by professional service standards. The food and beverage department is committed to delivering high-quality dining and drinking experiences, with a bar that serves a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The bar team works collaboratively to ensure smooth, efficient, and friendly service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.

The role of Bartender within our team is vital for maintaining the lively and inviting atmosphere of our bar area. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a diverse range of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring that all drinks meet our high standards for quality and presentation. This position requires a strong knowledge of various types of spirits, beer styles, and wines, as well as the ability to recommend drinks to guests based on their preferences, contributing to an enhanced guest experience and increased sales through upselling premium products. Additionally, the Bartender will uphold responsible alcohol service, adhering strictly to local laws and hotel policies to ensure guest safety.

The role also entails direct guest interaction where excellent customer service and communication skills are essential. Greeting guests with warmth, taking orders promptly, and handling any issues or complaints professionally are key duties that impact the overall atmosphere and guest satisfaction. Maintaining a clean and organized bar environment is critical, involving restocking supplies, cleaning glassware and utensils, managing inventory and cash transactions accurately, and assisting with opening and closing duties such as inventory counts and shift reports.

Beyond the core bar responsibilities, this role may sometimes include assisting with the preparation and clean-up of food items, knowledge of bar food offerings, and maintaining kitchen food prep areas in accordance with sanitation standards. This broad scope highlights the team's versatile nature and commitment to delivering comprehensive food and beverage service.

Working as a Bartender in our hotel means becoming part of a professional, friendly team that values dedication, teamwork, and a positive attitude. It requires flexibility in scheduling, including working on weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, making it an ideal role for those who thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The hourly wage for this position is $15.15, reflecting the demands and responsibilities associated with the role. This career opportunity provides both personal and professional growth in the hospitality industry, offering a rewarding pathway for passionate individuals who enjoy both guest service and the art of bartending.
