The Barista also contributes to store maintenance by keeping the coffee shop clean, organized, and adhering to health and safety regulations. Inventory management tasks such as stocking supplies and reporting low stock items are part of the daily routine, along with weekly deep-cleaning duties including bleaching and oil removal. Unique to this role is a focus on cultural engagement, where knowledge of local Japanese customs, seasonal drinks, and special events will enhance guest interactions and enrich their overall experience.
Successful candidates will have previous experience as a barista or in customer service, a passion for coffee, and a willingness to immerse themselves in Japanese tea culture and brewing techniques.
