Currently, Creative Dining Services is seeking part-time Barista/Retail Associates to join the dining services team at Warner University, located in Lake Wales, Florida. This role involves engaging directly with customers to prepare and serve high-quality beverages and food items, ensuring exceptional guest experiences on campus. Both day and night shifts are available, offering a competitive wage of $15.00 per hour. As a Barista/Retail Associate, you will collaborate closely with the Retail Supervisor and Retail Manager, assisting in various aspects of the retail dining services program to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
This position is ideal for those who enjoy fast-paced environments and have a passion for customer service and beverage preparation. The role requires the ability to operate cash registers and point-of-sale systems accurately, manage inventory, and uphold stringent sanitation and cleanliness standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales preferred
- Barista experience is a plus
- Ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems
- Must be able to work flexible part-time hours including day and night shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages and food items ensuring quality, consistency, and food safety compliance
- Operate cash register and point-of-sale system, accurately processing cash, credit, and mobile transactions
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, making product recommendations, and creating a welcoming environment
- Maintain high-volume guest interactions with professionalism and efficiency, resolving customer concerns and ensuring a positive experience during busy periods
- Stock, organize, and replenish inventory including beverages, food products, supplies, and retail merchandise to support daily operations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the space, including dining areas, workstations, equipment, and service counters
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, efficient order fulfillment, and strong customer satisfaction
