The role of an on-call Barista/Fountain Worker at MGM Grand ensures exceptional guest experiences through personalized and friendly service. This position primarily involves working at the Starbucks location within the resort but may extend support to other Quick Service outlets as business demands dictate. The Barista/Fountain Worker is responsible for crafting quality beverages and food items tailored to each guest’s preferences while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED
1+ year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to work varied, on-call shifts

Job Duties

Take and place order and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
Collect money while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters
Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments
Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures
Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.
Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority
otherwise, refer the matter to management
notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
Perform other job-related duties as requested
