Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year previous experience as a barista
- ability to stand for long periods
- strong communication skills
- flexibility to work weekends including Saturdays
- ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems
- commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
- positive attitude and teamwork skills

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages including espresso lattes chai and more
- assemble sandwiches salads and other menu items from the kitchen
- assist with prepping in the kitchen
- greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude taking their orders accurately and efficiently
- provide product recommendations and offer information about menu items
- operate coffee machines grinders and other equipment with precision and care
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cafe
- handle cash and process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- assist in restocking supplies and inventory management
- work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
- uphold The Livingstones commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive peaceful atmosphere
