The position is focused on supervising and ensuring that service, store standards, and merchandising programs are successfully met within the department. This role involves leading a team to provide guests with prompt, friendly service while maintaining an attractive and clean atmosphere where products are showcased effectively. Responsibilities include guiding, training, and managing staff to maintain product quality and guest engagement, achieving budgeted sales and profit goals, and adhering to merchandising and operational guidelines. The successful candidate will operate in compliance with store policies and merchandising programs, ensuring proper inventory levels and a safe, clean working environment.

The role requires hands-on involvement in product preparation, inventory management including receiving, stocking, and rotation, as well as maintaining sanitation and safety standards consistent with Lowes Foods' expectations. Additionally, the position will manage labor budgets and scheduling to optimize workforce productivity. Communication is a critical aspect of the role, including ensuring that PA announcements are completed on schedule and fostering effective collaboration with Store Management and Merchandisers.

This job is ideal for individuals with an outgoing and friendly personality who enjoy working with guests and coworkers, possess strong communication and guest service skills, and have the ability to multitask and adapt to various technical requirements. Physical demands include the ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, as well as the capability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods. The candidate must demonstrate a willingness to learn, lead by example, and ensure that team members are fully trained to meet service standards, contributing to a positive store environment and successful department operations.
