The position is focused on supervising and ensuring that service, store standards, and merchandising programs are successfully met within the department. Responsibilities include guiding, training, and managing staff to maintain product quality and guest engagement, achieving budgeted sales and profit goals, and adhering to merchandising and operational guidelines. The role requires hands-on involvement in product preparation, inventory management including receiving, stocking, and rotation, as well as maintaining sanitation and safety standards consistent with Lowes Foods' expectations. Additionally, the position will manage labor budgets and scheduling to optimize workforce productivity. Communication is a critical aspect of the role, including ensuring that PA announcements are completed on schedule and fostering effective collaboration with Store Management and Merchandisers.

Job Duties
- Ensure guests receive friendly, engaging service from staff by providing guest demonstrations and samples using brewing and roasting equipment
- Achieve budgeted sales and profit
- Maintain daily, weekly and period financial reports
- Operate department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs including proper inventory levels of product and supplies
- Provide guidance, orientation, training, and performance feedback to hosts to ensure proper training in product preparation and guest engagement
- Perform product preparation, receiving, stocking, rotating, and guest service to meet standards
- Perform cleaning tasks and maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department in accordance with Lowes Foods standards
- Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards
- Ensure PA announcements are performed on schedule
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management
