Job Requirements
- Ability to continuously lift a minimum of 50 lbs several times per day
- Ability to push wheeled machine weighing 50-600 lbs to/from sales floor
- Preparation of foods using produce, machinery and sharp utensils
- Standing for extended periods
- Ability to work varied hours
- Ability to climb using a 6-foot step stool
- Visual ability to read instructions to ensure safety and compliance
- Ability to work in cold, refrigerated and hot environments
- Ability to sit, stand, talk, hear and use hands to operate computer keyboard and peripherals
- Ability to listen, comprehend, read and communicate effectively
- Ability to interact with customers
- English as primary language, bilingual skills may be needed based on business necessity
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations or food, beverage or restaurant industry preferred
- Ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products
- Ability to conduct demonstrations and sampling events
- Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
Job Duties
- Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
- Fully read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand instructions and program requirements
- Follow all safety requirements when using equipment
- Practice proper lifting techniques when handling boxes or heavy merchandise
- Adhere to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising and disposal procedures
- Accurately complete all reporting requirements including online requirements
- Regularly check product event schedules and communications for updates and supervisor requests
- Complete certifications and attend training sessions as required
- Follow safety and compliance guidelines for machine operation, cleaning and maintenance
- Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work area
- Assist teammates with event set-up, clean-up and kitchen duties
- Conduct food sampling and demonstrations to support business needs
- Follow general set-up and teardown guidelines
