Job Requirements
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours including standing walking bending and squatting
- Regularly lift and move up to 30 lbs coffee bags milk crates paper goods etc
- Must be able to work all operational hours
- Fast-paced movements required to go from one part of the space to others
- Must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country
Job Qualifications
- Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee tea and drink preparation
- Must be able to perform latte artwork
- Outstanding communication and guest service skills
- 1+ year barista experience on an espresso machine preferred
- Good problem-solving techniques with pace empathy and ability under pressure
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and follow directions
- Must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare specialty coffee and espresso beverages including latte art
- Maintain beverage safety and cleanliness standards by completing delegated tasks
- Have an open mind to learning new things and embracing change
- Complete all training material to ensure full understanding of menu and deliver excellent customer service
- Ensure all items are dated and following First in First Out (FIFO) standards
- Weigh grind or pack coffee beans for guests according to their specifications
- Operate the POS system ensuring accuracy of cash drops and authenticity of bills
- Consistently execute tasks with efficiency and grace while maintaining a sense of urgency
- Perform other duties as assigned
