Job Description

The role of barista at ELOREA is integral to its day-to-day operations and overall customer experience. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and energetic individual with a genuine passion for specialty coffee, tea, and customer service. Job Requirements

proof of right to live and work in the country
ability to work all operational hours including evenings weekends and holidays
physical ability to stand walk bend squat and lift up to 30 lbs
flexibility to perform fast-paced movements within the workspace

Job Qualifications

Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting
Regularly lift and move up to 30 lbs (Coffee bags, milk crates, paper goods, etc.)
Fast-paced movements are required to go from one part of the space to others
Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea, and drink preparation
Must be able to perform latte artwork
Outstanding communication and guest service skills
Good problem-solving techniques and ability to do so with pace, empathy, and sometimes under pressure
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and follow directions for all production
Must be able to provide proof of the right to live and work in the country
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Duties

We’re looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual who shares our passion for specialty coffee, tea, and customer service
Prepare specialty coffee and espresso beverages, including latte art
Maintain beverage safety and cleanliness standards by completing delegated tasks
Have an open mind to learning new things and embracing change
Employees are required to complete any and all training material provided to ensure full understanding of our menu and deliver excellent customer service
Ensure all items are dated and following First in First Out (FIFO) standards
Weigh, grind, or pack coffee beans for guests according to their specifications
Operate the POS system ensuring accuracy of cash drops and authenticity of bills
Consistently able to execute tasks with efficiency and grace while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service
Perform other duties as required or assigned
Must be able to work all operational hours
