The Barista Lead position at Sodexo based in PARKVIEW HOSPITAL RANDALLIA is a full-time role offering an hourly wage between $18 and $19. This role is ideal for a person who enjoys engaging with customers and has a passion for crafting high-quality artisan beverages and food. The Barista Lead acts as both an artist and a champion of fair trade principles, ensuring every beverage served meets Sodexo’s strong standards for quality and customer satisfaction. The position requires operating cash registers, managing payment transactions, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across all work areas including food preparation zones and dining spaces.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or food preparation preferred
- Certification as Starbucks Barista where applicable
- Ability to work varying shifts with open availability preferred
- Dependable and punctual attendance
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation, and inventory control preferred
- Certification as Starbucks Barista required in some locations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including varying shifts
- Team-oriented with adaptability and reliability
- Basic math and cash handling skills
Job Duties
- Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea, chai, fruit smoothies
- Register all sales, process payments by cash, credit card, or electronic methods, and operate cash register
- Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms, and food preparation zones
- Attend work and arrive on time for scheduled shifts with consistent reliability
- Perform other assigned duties which may vary between accounts based on business needs and client requirements
- Ensure all work areas maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment for all staff members
