As a Barista I at Sodexo, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding customer experience by preparing high-quality handcrafted beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, chai, tea, and fruit smoothies according to customer specifications. This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $18.00 and primarily involves afternoon and evening shifts on varying days. Your responsibilities will include greeting all customers warmly, ensuring efficient and friendly service, maintaining good relationships with customers, educating patrons about menu offerings, suggesting additional sales, and organizing supplies and beverage stations attractively. You will also be responsible for cleaning coffee machines and restaurant areas regularly, managing cash transactions with accuracy, and following inventory and sanitation standards. Physical demands include the ability to walk or stand for extended periods, frequently lifting up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Your consistent attendance and punctuality will contribute to the smooth operation of the café.
