Delaware North is currently seeking a full-time Barista to join their team at Hudson Yards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with a diverse range of guests and help create memorable experiences through expert coffee preparation and exceptional guest service. The Barista role centers around mastering coffee knowledge, crafting beverages according to brand specifications, and educating both customers and team members on coffee specifics and recipes. This is a tipped position, with an hourly base pay ranging from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, exclusive of potential tip earnings. As a Barista at Delaware North's Patina Group, you will play a critical role in delivering hospitality excellence by combining technical proficiency with friendly, attentive service. Your responsibilities will include informing guests about menu items, utilizing suggestive selling techniques to enhance their experience, preparing and serving food and beverages in accordance with health and safety guidelines, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the workspace. You will also be involved in operational tasks such as assisting with opening or closing procedures, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring financial balances are maintained. Physical stamina is essential for this role, given the requirements for extended standing, walking, and manual handling of stock items up to 50 pounds.
