The Barista will interact warmly and professionally with customers and fellow team members while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service area. Duties include accurately entering orders, handling payments, and replenishing supplies. A strong focus on presentation, portion control, and proper serving temperatures is essential. This position also requires maintaining sanitation standards for all equipment and adhering strictly to food preparation recipes and production standards.
Eurest offers a competitive pay range of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour for this role. Job Qualifications

- previous barista experience required
- knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation

Job Duties
- Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enter orders accurately into POS device
- accept cash and charge payments
- replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies
- maintain cleanliness of service area
- ensure proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures
- follow HACCP standards
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils
- use approved recipes and prescribed production standards for food preparation
- keep display equipment clean during service
- clean equipment and workstation before leaving
- greet customers courteously and ensure customer satisfaction
- relay customer concerns to supervisors
- serve customers quickly and efficiently
- demonstrate understanding of daily menu items and explain to customers
- advocate selling techniques by assisting customers in buying decisions
- merchandise display foods attractively
- serve food neatly and attractively
- perform other duties as assigned
