Currently hiring a full-time Barista position located at the University of the Pacific, 3601 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95211. This role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.90 to $17.00 and operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The Barista plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional coffee and espresso beverage service as well as food and beverage preparation in adherence to strict food safety standards such as HACCP. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of barista experience, although willingness to train is encouraged for motivated beginners.

The Barista responsibilities include preparing espresso drinks and coffee orders consistently using standard recipes, accurately entering orders into a POS system, handling cash and card payments, replenishing supplies, and ensuring cleanliness of the service area. Beyond technical skills, the role demands excellent customer interaction and communication skills as baristas act as brand advocates who engage and assist customers in making informed purchase choices. Maintaining the food service environment's sanitation, proper food handling, equipment cleanliness, and attractive food presentation are also key functions of the role.
