Currently, Aramark is seeking full-time Baristas to join its dynamic and fast-paced team. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a social environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Barista at Aramark, you will be responsible for preparing specialty coffee and tea beverages, assisting with food preparation, operating the cash register and Point of Sale (POS) system, and handling cash and card transactions accurately. Providing outstanding service to customers by greeting and anticipating their needs is a critical aspect of this position. You will also support store operations by maintaining clean and sanitary workstations, stocking supplies, and adhering to health and safety guidelines. This position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. Additionally, you may be required to complete a Food Handling Certification and comply with dress code standards. Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills in English
- Completion of required Food Handling Certification
- Must adhere to company dress code and wear uniforms as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Previous experience as a barista preferred
- Basic math and counting skills required
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to follow required dress code

Job Duties
- Operate register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
- Prepare and serve coffees, teas, specialty beverages per brand standards
- Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards
- Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out cashier slip and make deposits
- Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures
- Set up and break down coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning and sanitizing
- Maintain clean and sanitary work area
- Stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware and condiments
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
