Job Requirements

Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge
Proven cashiering skills with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
Strong customer service orientation
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques
Excellent time management skills
Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings

Job Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their experience
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the caf area, including food handling and preparation tasks
Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cash register operations, change giving, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
Assist with food service tasks such as food prep, serving baked goods or snacks, and ensuring the caf remains inviting and organized
Use excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining high-quality customer interactions
