We are currently seeking a dedicated Barista to join our high-energy, efficient team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, baking and packaging goods, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The Barista will work shifts from early morning until early afternoon on weekdays and weekends, with availability needed for Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Flexibility with shifts is highly valued.

The Barista role at Egghead Cafe is much more than just making coffee. Candidates will welcome customers, inform them about specials or new items on the menu, take orders and payments, and ensure that each visitor leaves satisfied. Responsibilities include opening and closing the bar according to the cafe’s standard procedures, grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing drinks to perfection, and presenting items attractively to customers.

Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining food safety and quality controls while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Baristas at Egghead Cafe also participate in learning about different brewing methods, beverage blends, and food preparation techniques to continuously improve product offerings. The ability to update signage and displays is important to keep the cafe attractive and inviting.

Teamwork is at the core of our operations, and our Baristas must work cooperatively with colleagues to ensure smooth service and a positive workplace culture. Taking inventory, restocking display cases and counters, and ensuring cleanliness contribute to the overall success of the cafe. This position pays between $16.50 and $27.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Candidates should be self-driven, responsible, respectful, engaged, and attentive to details.
