We are currently seeking a skilled Barista for a part-time position to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring an excellent drinking experience for our guests by preparing and serving beverages and food with precision and care. The position offers a competitive compensation package including both an hourly wage and tips, with an average total hourly rate of around $17.50 before taxes. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service, is punctual, and capable of working various shifts including day and evening hours. As a Barista, you will not only prepare drinks following recipes but also educate customers on our menu offerings, recommend options based on their preferences, and actively up-sell special items. Beyond serving, maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace is essential, alongside monitoring equipment functionality and adhering to health and safety regulations. This is an in-person role and excellent communication skills are a must, as you will be engaging with customers to ensure their satisfaction and gathering feedback to relay to management. Barista experience is required for this position, with a preference for those who have prior guest service experience and familiarity with sanitation regulations.
