We are currently seeking a dedicated Barista to join our dynamic team at the Omaha Marriott Downtown. The Barista plays a crucial role in shaping the guests' mornings by preparing Starbucks quality beverages, delivering warm and attentive service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for the day. This role demands attention to detail, a commitment to consistently high standards, and the ability to engage with guests tactfully to ensure satisfaction.

The Barista manages the beverage station's cleanliness and merchandising, follows inventory protocols for stocking and rotation of products, and adheres to accounting procedures concerning cash handling and house bank management. Key responsibilities also include balancing the house bank at shift end and performing general cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards. The position requires the ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a capacity to operate effectively under pressure.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in hospitality, barista roles, cashiering, or customer service, along with basic mathematical skills to handle cash transactions accurately. Effective conflict resolution skills and proficiency in English for clear communication of menu items and promotions are essential. The use of Point of Sale systems and keyboard operation is required to fulfill cashier functions.
