The role of Barista at Sodexo, located at St. Thomas University, offers a full-time position with a pay range between $14.50 and $17 per hour. This role involves working varying shifts with open availability preferred to best meet business needs. As a Barista, you will be a key contributor to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Physically, this role requires the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, sometimes exceeding eight hours, and to perform tasks that involve bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds frequently or up to 50 pounds occasionally. Reliability and punctuality in adhering to scheduled shifts are essential.

For those who have experience as Starbucks Baristas, certification may be required. Other qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and relevant customer service experience, along with knowledge of food preparation, sanitation standards, and inventory control.
