Job Description
Pacific Hospitality Group is a distinguished hospitality company known for its unique owner/operator approach that offers exceptional value to both investors and team members. As a family-oriented organization, Pacific Hospitality Group is deeply committed to long-term holds that foster growth not only for the business but also for the careers and development of its employees. The company’s vision centers around enriching people's lives by curating memorable experiences, giving back to the community, and upholding core values grounded in honoring God in all operations. With a sharp focus on sustainable growth and long-term value creation, Pacific Hospitality Group has positioned itself as a company that prioritizes integrity, compliance, customer service excellence, principled entrepreneurship, and continuous learning.
The role of Barista within Pacific Hospitality Group is pivotal as it directly influences the quality of guest experiences at their food and beverage outlets. Baristas are responsible for greeting guests warmly and efficiently, preparing beverages such as coffee and espresso, and ensuring that food items meet the highest standards. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of $18.00 per hour and entails engaging with customers to take orders, handling payments accurately, and upselling items to enhance the guest experience while driving sales. Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace is essential, as is adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. The company reinforces a culture of safety and attention to detail, expecting Baristas to promptly report any issues related to equipment, safety, or customer concerns to management.
Beyond the operational responsibilities, Baristas at Pacific Hospitality Group are encouraged to embody the company’s guiding principles such as humility, respect, and fulfillment. This role also requires professionalism and a positive attitude, underscoring the company’s ethos of not only serving great products but also delivering exceptional service. The Barista position demands strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be comfortable working flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry.
Physical requirements for this role include stamina for standing and walking for long periods, the ability to lift moderate weights, and safely operating food service equipment while following strict safety protocols. The position also mandates possession of a current Food Handler Card or the ability to obtain one within 30 days, ensuring compliance with health standards.
Pacific Hospitality Group fosters an inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and prohibits discrimination of any kind. Equal employment opportunities are offered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other federally, state, or locally protected characteristics. This fair employment policy covers all aspects of the employment relationship including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training. Joining Pacific Hospitality Group as a Barista means becoming part of a company committed to principled entrepreneurship, customer focus, knowledge, change, and ultimately the fulfillment of both employees and guests alike. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about coffee, customer service, and working in a supportive, values-driven environment that recognizes and nurtures talent.
