We are currently seeking dedicated Barista - Café Team Members to join our dynamic team. As a barista at our café, you will play a central role in delivering exceptional coffee and beverage experiences. This position offers both full-time and part-time availability with a flexible schedule, making it suitable for individuals who thrive in adaptable work environments. The role of Barista - Café Team Member goes beyond simply making coffee. It’s about crafting specialty espresso drinks, pour-overs, cold brews, teas, and seasonal beverages that meet precise recipe and quality standards. You will also be responsible for handling cold food items safely and processing orders and payments accurately. This position requires a versatile team player who is eager to maintain cleanliness, support fellow team members, and uphold all food safety and sanitation protocols. From greeting guests warmly to assisting with event catering, your involvement will be integral to our café’s success.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler Manager Certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Experience in coffee, food and beverage, or customer service preferred
- Must be available for flexible scheduling including mornings, weekends, and occasional events or catering shifts
- Ability to handle cold food safely and comfortably in a fast-paced café environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Comfortable with repetitive hand and arm movements
- Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, and stoop to access equipment and ingredients
- Ability to work in varying temperatures including near hot equipment and refrigerated areas
- Clear verbal communication with guests and team members in a noisy environment

Job Duties
- Greet every guest warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they walk in
- Prepare specialty espresso drinks, pour-overs, cold brew, teas, and seasonal beverages to exact recipe and quality standards
- Handle and serve cold food items including grab-and-go options, light café fare, and catering-adjacent prep safely and with care
- Stay sharp on our full menu and communicate product knowledge confidently to guests
- Accurately process orders and payments and manage your cash drawer following established procedures
- Maintain all equipment in clean, working order and flag any issues to management promptly
- Keep your station, the bar, and all guest-facing areas clean and organized throughout your shift
- Restock workstations, ingredients, supplies, and merchandise proactively
- Support fellow team members and pitch in wherever the team needs you
- Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
- Assist with catering and events setup and breakdown as needed
