This full-time position is located at Daimler Trucks HQ in Portland and offers a competitive pay range of $19 to $20 per hour. Baristas at SodexoMagic are integral in creating a welcoming and engaging customer experience, focusing on the preparation and serving of specialty drinks such as coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, teas, and more. Mornings are busy shifts where punctuality, energy, and eagerness to serve are crucial. Baristas will often be on their feet for extended periods, requiring physical stamina and the ability to safely lift and move supplies. Duties include greeting guests warmly, taking customized orders, maintaining service speed and quality, managing cash registers with accuracy, and ensuring that all operational standards including cleaning and sanitation are upheld consistently. This position often entails maintaining attractive displays of coffee bars and carts, educating customers about the menu offerings, and promoting upsells to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
