The role of Barista at Sodexo, based at the Olympus HQ in Center Valley, involves delivering exemplary customer service while crafting high-quality beverages to meet client expectations. This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $19 per hour and focuses on weekday shifts, the details of which will be clarified during the interview process. As a Barista, you will be the face of the coffee service, greeting guests warmly and providing a personalized experience to every customer. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, tea, and specialty drinks like chai and fruit blends, ensuring each is crafted according to customer preferences.

Beyond beverage preparation, the Barista will maintain excellent customer relations, facilitate rapid and accurate service, and engage guests by educating them about menu options and promoting additional sales through suggestive selling techniques. The role also includes responsibilities such as organizing coffee bar and cart supplies into attractive displays, performing routine cleaning and maintenance of coffee machines and preparation areas, and managing cash transactions responsibly. This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand or walk for extended periods during shifts that may exceed eight hours, and the capacity to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
