Job Description
We are an independent caf concept located in the heart of Downtown San Antonio, Texas. Our establishment is built on the foundations of warmth, craftsmanship, and community spirit. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment where every guest feels at home and every beverage tells a unique story. As an independent caf, we focus deeply on our food and beverage program, ensuring that quality, consistency, and genuine hospitality are at the forefront of our service. We are dedicated to crafting exceptional experiences daily and have cultivated a space where our customers enjoy not only premium coffee and specialty drinks but also a sense of connection and belonging. Being situated downtown allows us to serve a diverse clientele ranging from busy professionals grabbing a morning coffee to locals seeking a casual place to unwind or catch up with friends. The ambience is vibrant and inviting, promising a memorable visit with every cup and every interaction.
The role of Barista - Caf Team Member is vital to our caf experience. This full-time and part-time position offers a flexible schedule with competitive pay based on experience. The Barista role revolves around delivering outstanding coffee and beverage drinks following precise recipes and quality standards while also managing cold food preparation and handling as needed. This position requires a hands-on, team-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include preparing specialty espresso drinks, pour-overs, cold brews, teas, and seasonal beverages, as well as serving light caf fare and grab-and-go items with care and attention to food safety standards. A Barista at our caf is not just someone who makes coffee; they are the heart of the customer experience, providing genuine hospitality, engaging warmly with every guest, and contributing to a smooth and enjoyable operation.
Flexibility is a key attribute for this role, as it demands the ability to shift seamlessly between bartending the espresso machine and assisting with other caf tasks like restocking, maintaining clean workstations, and supporting catering events. We emphasize reliability, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude. If you are passionate about coffee culture, eager to learn more about the craft, and enjoy working with people in a lively caf setting, this role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills and be part of a vibrant community dedicated to quality and service.
