We are currently hiring enthusiastic Rock Star Baristas to join our dynamic team at our location in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role is perfect for individuals who have a passion for crafting hand-prepared hot and cold coffee and tea beverages and who thrive in fast-paced, customer-focused environments. As a Barista, you will work day shifts with options between 6am - 2pm or 8am - 4pm, providing flexibility for your schedule. The pay range for this role is between $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer optional daily pay through Dailypay.com, allowing employees to access their earnings more flexibly.
The Barista position involves preparing, stocking, and maintaining your station throughout the day to ensure a smooth, efficient operation. Exceptional customer service is at the heart of this role; you will engage with guests warmly, determine their coffee preferences, and educate them on our beverage offerings. The ability to prepare a variety of coffee drinks according to established recipes and serve complementary food items such as pastries and sandwiches is essential. You will maintain cleanliness and organization of your equipment and work area while adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards.
This is a hands-on role requiring physical endurance, including the ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, crawl, push, pull, and stand for extended periods, as well as carry weights up to 50 pounds consistently. The job also requires handling cash transactions accurately. The ideal candidate is a team player who can train new team members, cross-train in other departments, and contribute positively to the team dynamic. Additionally, weekly inventory management and equipment cleaning are part of your responsibilities.

Job Requirements
- Previous Barista experience required
- Knowledge of how brewing equipment operates
- SERV Safe certification
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, crawl, push/pull, and stand without limitation and for long periods of time
- Ability to carry 50lbs on a consistent basis

Job Duties
- Prepare, stock, and maintain your station continuously throughout the day
- Greet guests determining their coffee interests and needs
- Educate guests by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questions
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques along with serving pastries, sandwiches, and other food items
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
- Use of cash register, accurate cash handling and payment processing
- Work as a team with others, train new team members, and cross train in other departments
- Complete weekly inventory and order list
- Clean and maintain all equipment continuously
- Perform any other tasks as requested by Operations Manager
