Job Requirements
- High school diploma GED or equivalent experience
- Relevant customer service work experience
- Knowledge of food preparation sanitation standards and inventory control
- Ability to stand walk for long periods up to and beyond 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Availability for varying shifts with open availability preferred
- Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Customer service related work experience
- Knowledge of food preparation sanitation standards and inventory control systems
- Certification for Starbucks baristas may be required
Job Duties
- Greet all guests and provide quick friendly personalized service
- Mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee espresso cappuccino cafe latte tea chai fruit blend drinks while considering customer specifications
- Maintain good customer relations and speedy delivery of beverages and food items
- Educate guests regarding menu offerings and initiate suggestive selling
- Arrange coffee bar and cart supplies and cups mugs to create attractive displays
- Clean coffee machines restaurant areas and preparation areas regularly
- Record all sales collect money operate cash register and follow all cash-handling procedures
- Walk or stand for extended periods during shifts which may exceed 8 hours
- Reach bend stoop push or pull and frequently lift up to 35 pounds occasionally lift or move 50 pounds
- Punctually attend scheduled shifts and perform other duties as assigned
