The role of a Barista at Caffe Calabria is both dynamic and customer-focused. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a similar barista role preferred
  • Ability to learn and prepare a range of coffee, tea and cold drink recipes
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace
  • Good communication skills
  • Capable of operating espresso machines, grinders, brewers and POS systems
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing role preferred
  • Knowledge of coffee and tea varieties and brewing methods

Job Duties

  • Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees and teas

  • Assisting with opening and closing duties including setup, cleaning and inventory tasks
