Job Duties
- Complete opening and closing tasks such as organizing provisions and cleaning equipment
- organize, stock, and maintain work areas
- enter orders in the MICROS system and prepare food and coffee
- ensure appliances like coffee machines are turned on and off at appropriate times
- clean tables and rolling coffee service areas
- maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day
- handle cash transactions including obtaining change, balancing cash registers, completing cashier reports, and securing cash
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- maintain a clean and professional appearance
- protect company information confidentiality and company assets
- support coworkers with dignity and respect
- assist team in achieving common goals
- meet quality assurance standards
- lift, move, transport, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- read and visually verify information in various formats
- inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects
- perform physical motions such as reaching above the head, bending, twisting, crouching, and climbing stairs or ramps
- greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- communicate clearly and professionally with others including telephone etiquette
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
