The Barista role with Elior Collegiate Dining, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, offers a full-time, onsite employment opportunity with a compensation rate of $18 per hour. This position is ideal for energetic, motivated individuals passionate about delivering excellent customer service and quality food and beverages. Baristas will interact daily with a diverse clientele, offering a friendly atmosphere and expertly prepared food and drink items that contribute to the overall dining experience on campus. In addition to preparing various food and beverage products, the Barista will operate a cash register and engage customers with helpful and friendly interactions, helping to foster a welcoming and efficient service environment.

The ideal candidate excels in multitasking and time management, can work independently, and possesses strong communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail and service knowledge are paramount, ensuring every customer enjoys a high-quality dining experience. Although not mandatory, candidates with retail experience, especially in food and beverage environments, are preferred. Job Requirements

  • at least one years' experience working in a retail environment
  • willingness to work full-time onsite
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong organizational abilities
  • basic math skills for cash handling
  • previous customer service experience preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is a plus
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
