Valencia College in Orlando, FL, in collaboration with Metz Culinary Management, is currently seeking passionate and energetic Baristas to join their team in a dynamic college dining setting. This role is a unique blend of front and back of house responsibilities, offering a fast-paced and fun work environment suitable for individuals who thrive on customer interaction and the art of crafting quality coffee and tea beverages. The position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate various availability needs, making it an excellent opportunity for students or individuals looking for part-time work with the possibility for growth within the company. Salary ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience, reflecting Metz Culinary Management's commitment to rewarding skilled team members appropriately. Interview opportunities are available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM at Valencia College's East, West, or Osceola Campus Cafes. As a Barista, you will take on critical responsibilities related to preparing and maintaining your workstation, engaging guests to determine their beverage preferences, and educating them on the coffee menu. You will prepare beverages using prescribed recipes and preparation techniques while also serving pastries, sandwiches, and other food items to provide a complete dining experience. The role emphasizes maintaining cleanliness, adhering to safety and sanitation standards, and operating cash registers for accurate transaction processing.

Teamwork is highly valued at Metz Culinary Management, and Baristas are expected to collaborate with colleagues, assist in training new team members, and cross-train in other departments. Inventory management and equipment maintenance are also important aspects of the role, ensuring consistent quality and availability of products.
