Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of barista experience
- Ability to follow company dress code and maintain a neat appearance
- Willingness to engage positively with customers and promote brand values
- Ability to coach and train team members
- Ability to conduct operational checks and maintain cleanliness
- Commitment to meet sales targets and control waste
- Flexibility to work full-time shifts
- Basic understanding of inventory and waste management
- Ability to attend training sessions, meetings, and complete related duties
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Coach and train team member star and baristas-in-training on barista prepared drinks and standards
- Liaise with management to plan and conduct barista prepared drinks training
- Carry out coffee team briefs and attend relevant meetings and courses
- Ensure all hot drinks training materials are available and updated
- Follow Pret's dress code and maintain immaculate appearance
- Positively engage with customers and team to promote Pret's coffee story and menu
- Serve barista prepared drinks to the 60 seconds standards, communicating delays
- Impress customers with latte art
- Make barista prepared drinks to Pret standards
- Role model coffee knowledge and uphold barista drinks standards
- Maintain barista equipment, barista box, and complete daily and weekly checks
- Keep the barista counter clean and customer-friendly
- Perform log checks, thermometer calibration and dribble tests
- Manage barista prepared drinks waste to control shop profitability
- Address stock variance and waste issues in coordination with the manager
- Set and communicate weekly sales targets for barista drinks
- Monitor and understand barista drinks sales mix
- Use promotional waste to sample and recognize regular customers through Joy of Pret
