Dallas is recognized for its collaborative relationship with Pret A Manger (Pret), a renowned Food To Go and coffee shop franchise famous for offering freshly made food and organic coffee. As part of this dynamic growth, the Pret Barista role is a full-time position offering an hourly pay rate of $18.50, inclusive of tips and a Mystery Shopper bonus. Additionally, there is a $100 referral bonus available. The role involves working as part of a team in a Pret shop to deliver drinks that meet Pret's exacting standards. Baristas are expected to focus on delivering excellent drink quality and creating an exceptional customer experience characterized by Pret's unique "Buzz." The responsibilities cover comprehensive drink counter operations, maintaining cleanliness and equipment, and helping train other team members.

The role involves coaching and training baristas in preparation of drinks, ensuring all training materials and sessions align with Pret's standards. Baristas will engage positively with customers, sharing Pret's Coffee Story and menu to elevate the customer experience. There is an emphasis on fast and accurate drink service, always striving to impress with details such as latte art. Maintaining the cleanliness of the drinks counter and equipment, performing regular checks, and managing stock waste control are critical areas of responsibility. Baristas will also contribute to growing sales by understanding sales targets, engaging in promotional activities, and recognizing regular customers.
