We are currently hiring Baristas to join our team and offer exceptional service to a diverse group of guests from around the globe. As a Barista at HMSHost, you will play an essential role in creating memorable experiences by consistently preparing quality beverages and food products. Baristas will be responsible for greeting customers warmly, following recipe and presentation standards, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, handling cash transactions responsibly, and embodying the values and mission of HMSHost.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow safety and security policies
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country
Job Qualifications
- Strong social skills and love meeting new people

- Willingness to learn new things quickly
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, policies and rules
- Basic math skills to accurately count money and make change

Job Duties
- Greet all guests with a smile while taking food and drink orders, answering any questions, calling guests by name and thanking them for their order
- Provide and prepare quality beverages and food products consistently to all guests by adhering to recipe and presentation standards while also providing legendary service
- Stay calm during periods of high volume to keep the store operating properly and set a positive example for the team
- Operate a cash register and receive payment from guests, while following all brand and HMSHost customer service and cash handling policies and procedures
- Keep the store clean, stocked, organized and decorate customer display areas
- Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge to enhance the culture, values and mission of the brand and HMSHost while following operational policies and procedures, including those for safety and security
