The Barback role at Yacht Club represents an exciting opportunity to be part of the signature fine dining seafood restaurant located at Hotel Trinity, an Autograph Collection luxury boutique hotel opening in late 2026 in the heart of downtown Austin. Yacht Club is designed to be a premier dining destination for locals and hotel guests alike, featuring an upscale yet approachable coastal cuisine experience centered on fresh, high-quality seafood, oyster bar specialties, refined steakhouse selections, seasonal menus, and an elevated wine and beverage program. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a barback or similar role preferred
- knowledge of food and beverage safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties
- work with bartenders to ensure excellent guest service and assist where needed
- maintain stock of ice, product, and supplies for the bartenders
- ensure that food sanitation practices are followed
- maintain the cleanliness of the bar area by removing dishes, breaking down trays, and completing all necessary side work
- be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes
- accurately answer guest questions
- be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional personal appearance
- perform other duties as assigned
