This unique resort attracts outdoor enthusiasts and professionals who share the passion for these majestic mountains and the vibrant outdoor lifestyle. Snowbird offers a dynamic work environment with distinct summer and winter seasons, providing full-time, part-time, and seasonal employment opportunities. Known for its commitment to high-quality guest experiences and employee satisfaction, Snowbird integrates professionalism, inclusivity, and a deep respect for nature into its culture and operations.
The role of Bar Back at the Tram Club located inside Snowbird Center is an essential part-time, seasonal position designed to support bartenders in delivering quality service and beverages to guests. The position runs from August 1, 2026, through October 11, 2026, primarily covering weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Under the guidance of the Tram Club Manager, the Bar Back will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organizing stock, assisting with drink preparation, and ensuring adherence to state alcohol laws and resort policies. This role requires a proactive individual capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while upholding Snowbird's exceptional standards of guest service and hospitality.
As a Bar Back, you will play a crucial role in the efficiency and smooth operation of the bar area by performing duties such as washing glasses, stocking beer, and maintaining sanitation standards. You will need to act in a respectful and professional manner towards guests and colleagues alike, addressing concerns swiftly to foster a welcoming atmosphere. This position demands physical stamina to carry trays, lift over 25 pounds, and stand for extended periods. Additionally, the role requires compliance with various certifications such as Food Handler Permit, Tips Certification, and a Sheriff Work Card, which ensure the responsible handling and serving of alcoholic beverages.
Working at Snowbird offers a variety of perks, including ski passes, employee discounts across several resort amenities such as eateries, retail shops, mountain school, lodging, and daycare services. Employees benefit from free transportation options like UTA Bus, rideshare vans, and employee blue shuttles, making commuting convenient. Snowbird fosters a respectful workplace culture that champions diversity in thought and background, encourages continuous learning, and supports employees with 401k plans and partnerships with related outdoor service providers.
By choosing to work at Snowbird, you join a team dedicated not only to providing excellent guest experiences but also to enhancing the wellbeing and growth of its employees. Snowbird’s work environment is designed to be friendly, inclusive, and dynamic, catering to those who appreciate the balance between professional responsibilities and the invigorating outdoor lifestyle that the mountain setting offers. If you have a passion for mountains, outdoor adventure, and hospitality, this seasonal Bar Back position could be a perfect fit to advance your career in a supportive and inspiring setting.
