The Seasonal Barback position at Conrad Hotel offers a dynamic opportunity to be part of this prestigious establishment’s food and beverage team. As a Barback, you will play an essential supporting role in preparing and maintaining both permanent and portable bars throughout the hotel. This role demands a high level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the hotel’s distinguished reputation for exceptional guest service. With an hourly pay rate of $30.25, the position requires flexibility concerning working hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. This is a union position that necessitates complete open availability and a willingness to work variable hours based on business needs and seniority. Daily responsibilities include retrieving orders from the storeroom, verifying the accuracy of stock deliveries, cutting and preparing fruit garnishes, assisting bartenders in keeping the bar fully stocked with all necessary supplies such as glassware and condiments, transporting and maintaining beer kegs, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of bar areas according to federal, state, local, and company health and safety standards. Job Duties

  • retrieve orders from storeroom and check stock for accuracy
  • prepare the bar by cutting and slicing garnishes and fruits
  • mix and pour juices and store backup supplies
  • assist the bartender in stocking and maintaining the bar
  • transport and perform maintenance on beer kegs
  • maintain cleanliness of bar areas and storage spaces
  • comply with health and safety regulations
