- Prior barback experience
- Are organized and proficient at multitasking
- Are a reliable team player willing to learn and adapt to new situations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Proficient in verbal and written English communication
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Food handling certification can be obtained during employment
- Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation including holidays and weekends

Job Duties
- Assist bartenders in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after service including arranging bottles glassware and bar tools and ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available
- Stock and replenish bar inventory including liquor mixers garnishes and other supplies to ensure bartenders have everything they need to prepare drinks efficiently and accurately
- Prepare garnishes such as citrus wedges olives and herbs according to established recipes and standards ensuring they are fresh attractive and ready for use during service
- Monitor and manage the supply of ice ensuring ice bins are filled and ice machines are functioning properly to support efficient preparation and service of drinks
- Provide support to bartenders during service including fetching and carrying items clearing empty glasses and bottles and assisting with guest requests to help ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures report any maintenance problems safety hazards accidents or injuries complete safety training and certifications properly store flammable materials
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies procedures and standards with self and colleagues
