Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously
- May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs
- Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift on a regular and continuing basis and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment, including but not limited to cutlery used in the cutting of fruit for garnishes
Job Qualifications
- Six months previous bar, restaurant, or hotel experience
- Excellent listener and communicator
- Ability to focus on guest interaction and multitask
- Team player and able to anticipate others' needs
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
Job Duties
- Properly set up the bar stations, prepare and restock garnishes as directed by management
- Responsible for keeping all liquor displays and shelving organized and maintaining par levels
- Clean counters and furniture, clean glasses, run food, clear plates, take out trash, unclog sinks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the back bar, liquor displays, storage areas, and service stations
- Remove trash and recycling and maintain overall sanitation standards
- Ensure bar is well stocked including refilling ice wells, stock glasses and straws, replenish liquor bottles, restock beers and other beverages
- Organize and inventory all shipments of liquor and beer in designated areas
- Track opening and closing inventory levels
- Perform side-work and all other opening and closing procedures
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- All other duties as assigned
