Job Description
Hit Parader Live is a brand-new supper-club-style venue nestled in the vibrant heart of Nashville, Tennessee. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Hit Parader Magazine and the golden eras of rock and roll music, this venue is where classic rock & roll attitude seamlessly blends with elevated hospitality to create an unmatched entertainment experience. Hit Parader Live is designed to host a variety of extravagant events including live music performances from rising stars and legendary bands, exclusive celebrity after-parties, private celebrations, and nights filled with delicious food, expertly crafted drinks, and unforgettable music. The establishment aims to stand out in Nashville’s bustling entertainment scene by offering a unique atmosphere that pays homage to music history while embracing modern luxury and comfort.
The Barback role at Hit Parader Live is an excellent entry-level position ideal for individuals passionate about bartending and hospitality. This key role operates behind the scenes to ensure orders flow smoothly at the bar and guests enjoy impeccable service throughout their visit. The Barback's primary responsibility is to support bartenders by keeping the bar fully stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and other essentials. Maintaining cleanliness is also a top priority, including washing and polishing glassware, cleaning bar tools and equipment, and keeping the work area spotless to meet health and safety standards. This role is physically demanding and requires regular lifting of heavy cases, restocking ice bins, and managing beverage inventory strategically using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method to minimize waste.
Additionally, the Barback will assist in prepping syrups and juices made in-house, replenishing garnishes like citrus slices, and helping bartenders run drinks during busy service periods. Working at Hit Parader Live demands excellent communication and teamwork skills as the Barback interacts closely with bartenders and other staff to maintain high service standards. The position offers hands-on learning opportunities for candidates eager to advance their bartending skills and eventually transition into a bartending role themselves. Being part of this dynamic team means working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with live music, which requires staying organized, efficient, and maintaining a positive attitude despite the lively setting.
If you love music, enjoy engaging with guests, and want to build a career in the hospitality industry within a prestigious Nashville venue, the Barback position at Hit Parader Live is an ideal fit. The role offers night, weekend, and holiday shifts in an exciting and culturally rich environment that celebrates music history while delivering top-tier food and beverage experiences. Join Hit Parader Live and be part of a team that makes every night memorable by combining passion for service, rock & roll spirit, and elevated hospitality.
