White Lodging is a leading hospitality company specializing in the development and operation of a diverse collection of premium-brand hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants. Renowned for its portfolio that spans some of the most vibrant and desirable cities across the United States, White Lodging emphasizes guest experience, quality service, and a welcoming environment. The company’s commitment to excellence and innovation in hospitality makes it an exceptional employer for those passionate about service and guest satisfaction. White Lodging’s establishments are known for their award-winning hospitality, stylish ambiance, and professional teams dedicated to making every visit memorable and enjoyable.
The Barback position at Kimpton Santo is integral to maintaining the seamless operations of the bar and supporting the bartending team to deliver outstanding guest service. This role focuses on ensuring the bar is consistently stocked, clean, and organized, facilitating the bartenders' ability to serve efficiently. The barback acts as the foundation of the bar’s function, providing vital assistance in stocking ice, products, and supplies, as well as adhering to food sanitation protocols. Through close collaboration with bartenders, the barback helps elevate the overall guest experience by ensuring prompt and attentive service.
The ideal candidate for the Barback role is someone with an outgoing and social personality, a passion for service, and a positive, can-do attitude. Teamwork is critical, as this position requires a collaborative approach to managing high-volume service and working effectively under pressure. Physical stamina is also important, given the fast-paced environment and the need to stand and move for extended shifts, as well as the capability to lift up to 50 pounds. Flexibility to work during nights, weekends, and holidays is necessary to meet the demands of hospitality service.
At White Lodging, working as a Barback means joining a supportive and dynamic team that values professionalism and guest satisfaction. Employees are ambassadors of the brand, showcasing neat personal appearance and thorough knowledge of menu items, including preparation methods and garnishes, to assist and inform guests accurately. This role not only helps ensure operational excellence but also provides opportunities for growth and advancement within one of the country’s top hospitality companies.
In addition to competitive responsibilities, White Lodging offers comprehensive benefits starting from day one, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, paid parental leave, and various employee assistance programs. The company supports continuous learning and leadership development, including tuition reimbursement options. Moreover, employees benefit from generous paid time off with rollover, referral bonuses, and discounts on hotel rooms, dining, and entertainment. With multiple properties in each market, White Lodging presents significant opportunities for career growth and development, making it a desirable workplace for hospitality professionals committed to excellence and guest-centered service.
