We are currently seeking a motivated Barback to join our team. This role is key to supporting our bartenders and ensuring that beverage stations are fully stocked, clean, and maintained to provide excellent service to our customers. The Barback will perform various tasks such as stocking bar supplies prior to each shift, assisting with inventory management, and helping bartenders during busy periods. This position requires someone who is a team player, quick on their feet, and ready to contribute to the seamless operation of our bar services.
As a Barback at Parkwest Bicycle Casino, you will be the backbone behind our successful bar team. You will be responsible for maintaining well-stocked bars, verifying incoming orders for quality and accuracy, and ensuring all liquor bottles meet safety standards with unbroken seals. In addition, providing support to bartenders by helping with breaks and assisting wait staff will be part of your daily duties. Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass mandatory screening including a background check and drug test
- Must possess a California Food Handler Card
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and co-workers
- Available for work including weekends and evening scheduling
- Able to communicate clearly with team members
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to work independently
- Able to work within a team environment
- Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
Job Qualifications

- Entry-level position, previous barback or food handling experience helpful

Job Duties
- Stock all bars for supplies prior to the start of each shift
- Help the bartender taking inventory at the beginning and ending of the shift
- Provide breaks to bartenders when allowed
- Assist bartenders and wait staff as needed
- Check all orders received from the storeroom for accuracy and quality and place orders in storage
- Check all liquor bottles for broken seals
- Provide courteous customer service to team members and customers
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked work area at all times
- Maintain facilities and equipment in compliance with safe work practices
- Ensure the security of customers' property at all times
- Concentrate in an intense, fast paced environment with numerous distractions
- Work in other areas when needed as dual-rated
- Perform other duties as assigned
