Founded and led by husband-and-wife duo Ryan and Kristy Rans, PHG prides itself on delivering exceptional service and crafting an inspiring, supportive workplace culture that promotes professional growth and excellence. Their leadership is built on five core values: demand for excellence, passion for hospitality, hunger to grow, unwavering commitment, and desire to win. These principles drive the company to maintain impeccable standards and continue growing, while adopting innovative technology and sustainable practices to enhance guest experiences.

One of PHG's marquee venues, Ruth's Chris Steak House located in Indianapolis, Indiana, stands as a 50-year-old institution renowned for delivering the best steakhouse experiences. PHG considers this flagship brand a critical part of its identity and commitment to excellence. Within this vibrant environment, PHG is currently seeking a dedicated Barback to join their team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow in the hospitality industry while working for a highly respected company. The role is essential to the efficient operation of the bar, requiring entry-level but hands-on involvement in supporting bartenders and ensuring that the bar area is well-stocked, orderly, and prepared during service hours.

The Barback at Ruth's Chris Steak House operates under the direction of the Bar Manager and plays a vital supporting role. Responsibilities include stocking the bar with liquor, syrups, napkins, straws, and glasses; preparing garnishes; refilling ice wells; changing beer kegs; and maintaining cleanliness. The role also involves coordinating with kitchen and security personnel, observing guest satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with local liquor laws and company policies. This position not only demands a physical capability to lift and handle supplies but also requires excellent communication skills and proactive teamwork to elevate customers' service experience.

This role offers the opportunity to learn and grow within a supportive, high-performing hospitality group that values personal development and teamwork. PHG's barbacks are an integral part of delivering a branded service experience known for quality and attention to detail. The company promotes diversity and inclusion, ensuring all team members are respected and opportunities are provided based on merit and qualifications. If you have a passion for hospitality and aspire to work in a dynamic, upscale environment, this Barback position provides an ideal platform to begin building a rewarding career in the restaurant and bar industry.
