Job Requirements

Must be at least twenty-one years old
minimum of 2 years of experience as a barback in a fine dining or upscale bar environment
must have a valid food handlers certification
must have an alcohol service licensing or certification
ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
ability to stand for prolonged periods
ability to lift at least 50 pounds
ability to complete orders quickly and accurately

Job Qualifications

Must be at least twenty-one years old
minimum of 2 years of experience as a barback in a fine dining or upscale bar environment
comprehensive knowledge of various spirits, wines, beers, and experience crafting unique cocktails
valid food handlers certification
valid alcohol service licensing or certification
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
ability to work quickly and efficiently
ability to work well as part of a team
ability to learn cash register software such as Aloha, Hot Schedule, and Paylocity

Job Duties

Support bartenders by replenishing supplies such as ice, garnishes, and glassware in a timely manner
set up and break down the bar area including cleaning and polishing glassware, restocking ingredients, and arranging tools and equipment
maintain cleanliness of the bar area including counters, floors, shelves, and equipment to meet hygiene standards
monitor inventory levels and communicate with bar manager to ensure adequate supplies
assist bartenders in taking orders, delivering drinks, and providing exceptional customer service
collaborate with bartenders to prepare and serve specialty cocktails and operate beverage equipment
adhere to safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations and report any hazards promptly
work closely with team members to ensure efficient communication and operations during peak hours and events
perform other related duties as assigned
