The role being offered is for experienced bartenders who are passionate about crafting excellent beverages and providing outstanding customer service. The position is ideal for individuals residing in Oahu or anywhere in Hawaii, preferably with at least three years of local bar experience. As a bartender at Mekiko Cantina, you will serve as an essential part of the guest experience, from welcoming visitors and making personalized drink recommendations to crafting unique cocktails and managing inventory. The role demands a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and adherence to food safety and quality standards. Bar staff are also responsible for handling financial transactions accurately and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of both the bar and dining areas.

This position offers a busy, fast-paced work environment indoors with air conditioning and requires excellent communication skills, physical stamina, and the ability to adapt quickly. Because Mekiko Cantina operates with a focus on teamwork, bartenders must work productively with peers across various roles and support the collective success of the restaurant. The typical work schedule involves approximately 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays, with shifts arranged on a rotating basis.
