Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in fine dining or upscale food service
- Ability to greet guests warmly and communicate effectively
- Knowledge of food and beverage safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
- Must be legally eligible to serve alcohol
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in fine dining or high-end food service environments is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food handling procedures, and food safety standards
- Experience with catering or banquet service is a plus
- Background in hospitality or restaurant settings demonstrates adaptability and professionalism
- Barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation enhances your versatility behind the bar
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Dietary aide or food industry experience is advantageous for understanding special requests or dietary restrictions
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their beverage and food orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to quality standards
- Assist with food presentation and serving in accordance with safety and hygiene regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, ensuring a sanitary environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and timely service during busy periods
- Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and promote responsible alcohol service
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently using POS systems
