The role of the Alamo Production Crew, specifically the service bartender within the Alamo Service Bar, is central to maintaining the heartbeat of the theater. This position is responsible for preparing beverages in strict accordance with Alamo Drafthouse’s standardized recipes, ensuring every drink meets the company’s high standards of service and presentation. The job requires strong teamwork and an understanding of one’s role within the larger operation to help deliver an awesome culinary and entertainment experience to every guest. Core responsibilities include daily station setup, thorough preparation, maintaining cleanliness and health safety standards in the service bar area, and ensuring prompt delivery of drinks.

This position offers competitive pay ranging from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour and includes benefits such as paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible scheduling, and access to employee perks like free movies and food. The Alamo Production Crew works both back of house (BOH) and in coordination with front of house (FOH) teams, reflecting a tip-sharing system where 20% of the total tips are allocated to the BOH staff and 80% to FOH.
