Job Duties
- Ensure world-class hospitality and uphold the highest standards of excellence
- Collaborate to develop thoughtful, seasonal, and creative cocktail menus
- Establish and uphold bar standards and methods, including classic and signature cocktail recipes, drink-making techniques, and batching protocols
- Support the General Manager in designing, implementing, and overseeing both opening and ongoing training programs for both exempt and nonexempt team members, with a focus on service, operations, and beverage knowledge
- Assist with the costing of all cocktails, wine, and beverage items, and contribute to the preparation of monthly reports
- Monitor and maintain execution standards at the bar to ensure quality, consistency, efficiency, productivity, and professionalism
- Support the General Manager, Special Events team, and CDC in planning and executing special events and private functions
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Department to develop a compelling and creative wine list, including by-the-glass offerings, pairings, and bottle selections
- Address guest concerns and complaints with professionalism and care to ensure a positive resolution
- Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal alcoholic beverage laws and regulations
- Support the team in evaluating restaurant equipment and infrastructure to maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
